Sambar powder

  Dry roast these ingredients and powder : 1 cup (128g) red chilies  1 cup dhania 1/2 cup urad dal 1/2 cup channa dal 3/4 cup dessicated coconut 2 inch cinnamon sticks 1 tsp menthya 1 tsp black pepper 8 lavanga 7 marata muggu 1 tsp gasgase

Rasam (Saru) Powder

 Method: Roast these ingredients separately and once cooled, make powder: NOTE: 1 cup = 128 grams - 128g red chillies (guntur) - half cup red chillies (byadge) - 1 1/4 cup coriander seeds - 3 tbsp methi seeds - 3 tbsp cumin seeds - 3 tbsp black pepper - 3 tbsp mustard - 1/2 sp hing - 1 tsp turmeric - 1.5 cups curry leaves
